For external candidates, official transcripts will be required if you are recommended for the position. Your degree must be from an accredited university. If the position does not require a college degree, you are required to have at least a high school diploma. Candidates with academic training and degrees granted outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency from an accredited agency in the U.S.

Example Of Duties

• Manages general administration activities and functions within School Operations.
• Assists the Administrative Director in the development of the School Operations District Strategic Plan.
• Processes travel requests for the entire school District.
• Validates and processes all fee waivers for facility usage agreements throughout the school District (with the exception of grants).
• Participates in defining operational needs and resolves operational issues during summer services programs.
• Distributes and assists with the Principal Transition Checklist.
• Assists the Administrative Director in the development and distribution of the Opening/Ending of School Year Procedures.
• Responds to all Public Information Requests related to School Operations
• Responds to and resolves parent, community, and employee concerns or complaints for the entire district.
• Reviews and revises incident responses.
• Assists the Administrative Director in coordinating the Money Matters Support Program.
• Conducts a needs assessment to define requirements for School Operations as needed.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Master’s degree with certification in elementary and/or secondary, as well as administration and/or supervision.
• Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience at school site, regional center, District and/or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
