I saw a TikTok user make a completely carnivore butter board with bacon and sausage and my mind was officially blown. So when I say the sky is the limit and the possibilities are endless?! Clearly, it’s true!

Does the butter stain the board?

I use mineral oil to condition my wooden cutting boards so no, the butter did not stain the board. However, the lemon juice did bleach a few spots on the wooden cutting board. I was able to restore the wood to its former glory with a bit of mineral oil.

If you are concerned about staining your boards, simply use a piece of parchment paper to layer over the board. It will help to protect the wood and make clean up easy!
