I recently had the pleasure of visiting AIRE Ancient Baths New York on Franklin Street in NYC, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience that I would rate 5 out of 5 stars! Having also visited the Chicago location, I was eager to see how this one compared. Both share a stunning aesthetic and concept, but I found the NYC venue to have its own unique charm. The ambiance at AIRE Ancients Baths New York is simply enchanting. The beautiful brick architecture combined with the hundreds of lit candles creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately puts you in a state of relaxation. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the moment. While the Chicago location had the advantage of an indoor/outdoor pool, I still appreciated the variety of pools available in NYC. I did visit during the summer, which added an interesting twist to the experience. Although I found myself feeling a bit overheated at times, the cold showers and refreshing plunges provided the perfect relief. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be to indulge in the warm baths during the winter months, creating a beautiful contrast with the chilly air outside. However, I was disappointed with the jet pool. I was expecting a powerful and invigorating experience, but the jets felt more like gentle bubbles than anything remotely energizing. For a place that prides itself on luxury and relaxation, I found this lack of intensity surprising and a bit of a letdown. One of the highlights of my visit was the shower and concierge service in the locker room. They use L'Occitane products, which felt incredibly luxurious, especially in the high-pressure rain shower. It was a wonderful way to refresh after my time in the baths. The locker room also offers an array of amenities, including combs, deodorant, mouthwash, nail files, and even Dyson hair dryers—the best of the best! The modern lockers added a nice touch, and I particularly appreciated the XXL robes, which provided a comfortable and cozy experience.Despite the minor drawbacks regarding the jet pool, what I truly adore about AIRE Ancient Baths New York is their commitment to cleanliness and the serene environment they cultivate. Every detail is thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience, making each visit a special retreat. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and I can confidently say I will return again and again, no matter which city I find myself in.If you're looking for a tranquil escape in NYC, Ancient Aire Bath is a must-visit destination. The combination of beauty, relaxation, and a unique atmosphere makes it a standout experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!

Aire Spa Baths in NYC offers a rejuvenating experience that is essential for anyone with spine issues, especially former athletes. As someone who has struggled with nerve problems and pinched discs, I found the baths to be incredibly therapeutic. The soak and floats provided the best relief I've experienced. I highly recommend Aire Spa Baths to anyone seeking relief and relaxation.

I had a phenomenal birthday treat at AIRE, the massage was unbelievable, the atmosphere was so surreal. It’s in the heart of the city but feels like you’re a million miles away. The bathrooms are so well stocked with everything you would need to get ready (hairdryers etc). Not the mention the incredible staff! Felt so well looked after. The only reason I have given it 4 instead of 5 stars is the cost. Although I cannot fault the experience I felt the price was steep ($150 for just the spa, $300 for the spa + massage service, totaling close to $500 all up). Appreciate this is typical for nyc but even so, it felt high. Perfect for a special occasion, just wish I could go more often and the price prohibits me from doing so!

Speechless! All I can say is I wish I had the luxury of building a spa like this for myself to enjoy. I felt amazing and fell to sleep many times relaxing in the pools. The masseuse was amazing, as well. Definitely worth the price. In fact, surprised with how affordable the packages are considering you feel like a queen! The staff is so great too! Went early morning 8am, left at 11am. Mornings seem more private. By 10am more people show up. I do think their should be a separation for the men. I do understand they may have purchased a package with their spouse so maybe have a private area for couples. It takes away from feeling free of this reality half naked with dim lights and ancient music creating an illusion and fantasy that a woman can experience because she feels the need to cover up because a married man is present. But overall, great experience!

Yesterday I visited Aire Ancient Baths in NYC, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The moment I walked into the men's locker room, I was greeted by a welcoming and attentive staff who made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The ambiance of the facility is serene and beautifully designed, creating a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the highlights for me was the variety of pools they offer. Each pool provided a unique and refreshing experience, but my absolute favorite was the cold plunge followed by the hot tub. The invigorating transition between the cold and hot temperatures was both rejuvenating and relaxing. The attention to detail in maintaining the cleanliness and atmosphere of the pools was impressive. Not to mention this would be great for couples.Overall, my time at Aire Ancient Baths was unforgettable. The exceptional service, tranquil environment, and diverse range of pools make it a top-notch spa destination. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and soothing retreat in the heart of NYC.

I would give it 2.5 stars. While the bath house is nice and wasn't fully crowded. Overall, I wish we had a better experience. We were escorted in by one of the staff who quickly showed us around and we could hardly hear her.Massage was a poor.I expected a better service and experience.

The place is amazing, different types of baths, very nice and very calming and very clean. I do feel like they are missing one treatment which is exfoliation. You do have salt and the steam room, but it’s not enough. Two types of steam room (one very hot «to hot the breath» type, and that is already there) plus an exfoliating glove should come with an «exfoliating treatment». I try to do this with the salt and the steam room, so I was standing up where the heat is hotter and kept going in and out to get the salt, the exfoliating glove would have done wonders. And you’d get to take it home. I feel like there is also room for improvement and this should be next of «how to make our services better»

Came here for a girls day with my best friend and we both loved this spa. The whole experience from the baths to the massages was very relaxing and calming. We felt like we waited a bit too long in the pools and there’s no place to change in privately. Otherwise, staff was friendly and space was very clean. Look forward to coming back again.

I drove 3 hours to come here. At first, they basically told me I had to wait 2.5 hours in the waiting room for my apt and that I couldn’t go inside. I had told them the woman on the phone when I called had told me I could come early, so there was some sort of miscommunication there. They were able to accommodate me but that was rather annoying. They don’t allow you to bring your phones in the bath area which I understand but like if I want to take photos of the baths without people in it, I should be able to.There seemed to be a lot of rules here which don’t make it relaxing. I actually felt bad for the locker room attendant she didn’t look like she was thrilled being there but she was very nice. You’re forced to wear gross water shoes that were super nasty, and very unclean to me.Alot lot of the staff were very nice. My massage was mediocre. I was soaked when trying to get on a massage bed from the baths. This place has potential but they make it seem like you can’t go back upstairs to change in your locker or anything prior to your massage, so I was soaked from the pools which made my body sticky and uncomfortable. The massage bed was very small almost fell off barely any room to move. For 300 I would expect excellent. The entire experience was just mediocre in my eyes. No one was rude everyone was nice, but I just felt like it wasn’t worth the hype or money.

The overall experience was awesome. The front desk was so kind and set the tone. I enjoyed all of the amenities and the baths were great. I definitely will do a massage next time, I just didn’t have time! The $30 upgrade from bath experience to bath + juice & mask experience is a waste of money. You get a little bag of a couple items that aren’t worth the value. I recommend bringing a fresh change of clothes for after, as you’ll feel clean and want to be in a clean outfit. The bathrooms are small and cramped, and always wet(I understand why) but it just grossed me out. A changing area would be nice, too. I’d go back but do a few things diff!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a massage therapy session and it was truly exceptional. Professional, courteous, and friendly staff. She paid particular attention to the knots in my shoulders and neck. She was great. Facilities were very clean.

I had the poor judgment of booking a massage at the NY location. I had to make a change to a reservation due to a family issue (which I explained) and I was completely accommodating to move my reservation to whatever suited them best. There was absolutely zero understanding, very poor customer service and no effort made in escalating the issue. Once they have your $ customer service takes a back seat.

I would say my experience was mediocre at best. I came to AIRE recently as I had a gift card for the ultimate bath experience which came with a DIY scrub and face mask. Upon entering, I was greeted, checked in, and told to go into the women's locker room. After changing, I went into the pools area, and it just was underwhelming. It was quite busy with other patrons, the pools were anything impressive. The whirlpool was barely warm and the jets were up so high. I'm happy with my decision of not adding a massage after reading the reviews of it being less than stellar. I will likely not return, not my thing... I was actually quite bored.

I flew in from Georgia for a 1 day girls trip and AIRE New York was the main event. From the moment I walked in, I was NOT impressed. The front desk staff were not friendly at all. The facilities were average and the experience was not at all what I expected. My massage person, Janice, DID a great job and the Hispanic women’s room attendant was extremely attentive. There was also a young AA male that was friendly. Everyone else I encountered seemed to not care at all about their job or making a PRICEY experience also be memorable. Next time, I will stay in Atlanta and go to Jeju. Very disappointed customer! The 2 stars are only because of the massage!

It was an amazing sauna and baths experience. I was there twice and every time it feels really luxurious and atmospheric. It will be perfect for a couple date. Or just for after work relax. I highly recommend it as it keeps being high end and quality way to spend time, diving into Ancient vibe.

I've been frequenting this location for a while now, and I've been impressed by the overall setup. I particularly enjoy the darker ambiance and the stunning thermal baths. The staff, including those in the women's changing room, are consistently polite and respectful. However, there was one instance where the receptionist wasn't as helpful as I had hoped.I did try a massage treatment, which I found to be decent but not quite worth the price, in my opinion. As someone who enjoys spas, I've visited quite a few, and I don't think their massage treatments, such as deep tissue or regular massages, justify the cost.Next time, I'm interested in trying the wine massage, if I recall correctly. It seems intriguing, and I've heard prior reservation is necessary. Despite some minor drawbacks, the spa itself is beautiful, and I'll definitely visit again.

Aire is beautifully designed and the baths offer something for everyone. Extremely relaxing, gorgeous ambience with every touch thought through. My massage therapist ET was incredible. I highly recommended her. They even warm your wet shoes and bathing suit after your massage so you’re not getting back in to cold swimwear.

After recently visiting the AIRE Ancient Baths in Chicago with my best friend, I knew I had to take my husband here for his birthday and I'm so glad I did. I booked us the Escape Together package which included a 30 minute couples massage and 90 minutes to enjoy the baths at our own pace. It is on the pricier side, so I'd say this is definitely a splurge package but it was worth it for us. We went in the evening so the dark and candlelit ambience was perfect for a rainy NY night. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous (and clean!), the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I loved that it wasn't super crowded and we felt like we had ample space to comfortably relax and enjoy the baths. We walked out of there completely relaxed and refreshed. It was a great experience!

I needed this in my life and it surely delivered. The staff was helpful and thorough. The place itself is immaculate and filled with relaxing scents. The baths were relaxing and delivered a unique experience. Experiencing the combination of temperatures of the baths gave my body a therapeutic sensation and relaxed me. We got massages as well. I forgot her name, but the lady with the braids and beads did wonders on my back. Dont forget to try a couple of juices as well. We need one of these in DC for sure.

• A great spot for a spa/bath experience in Manhattan.• One of the few places that are clean and not too crowded.• Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.• Clean facilities and friendly staff.•The floating pool was one of my favorite features.• They only have a Turkish-style steam room, which is surprising.• Unfortunately, they don't have a dry sauna, which is unusual for an upscale place.• The robes could be improved – they are made of polyester instead of cotton.Overall, a nice place to unwind, but lacks some common amenities like a dry sauna. The cleanliness, friendly staff, and unique floating pool make up for the missing features.

We treated ourselves to a visit to Aire on the evening of the NYC marathon (so it was very much needed!).The service was outstanding and a huge contrast to what we’ve experienced at spas in the UK. The staff were welcoming and professional at every point of contact. The ‘no phones’ policy is great, and made the experience feel so much more relaxing.
