Cheesy Garlic Bread is a baking recipe where Butter is used. Before trying it, I just want to ask if I can use grass-fed ghee instead of butter, as ghee is a healthy butter substitute. Ghee offers high smoke point and better scale of nutrition, etc. Will it be a better choice?

The recipe says two loaves of bread but the picture has one loaf cut open. Do you use two loaves and end up with four slices?
Melissa Griffiths
You use two loaves, and you’ll end up with 4 big halves that you can cut into smaller slices.

I worked at Black Angus as a young adult and have made this recipe my whole adult life. Exact recipe (although they may have changed it later as I worked there in the early 90s) we used a cheddar jack mixture, but i love asiago cheese also. Love your recipe as well!
